Isaiah 2:22

Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they? Isaiah 2:22 NLT Often times we can put so much trust in others and expect so much out of them that our own false expectations let ourselves down. Other people are humans  and are not perfect; so why do we place perfect expectations on them? It's not fair to them or to ourselves. I know I've placed great expectations on people in my life and have ended up disappointed. It's good to have people you trust, but allow room for grace and don't allow your trust to be a burden. Humans are humans, we can fail. Putting all your trust into one person can put strain and cause harm in a relationship. Put all of your trust in God. Trust Him with your issues and your future. Let grace rule in your heart and relationships. God is the the only one worthy of our full trust. He is the only one who is capable of dealing with the pressure of having our full trust. Trust God with your life, not other humans.
